MANAGEMENT
KATARZYNA STANKIEWICZ – Head of the Centre
sychologist, certified psychotherapist of the Polish Psychiatric Association, specialist in environmental therapy and a trainee supervisor. Since July 2022, Katarzyna has been the Head of the Psychological and Counselling Services Centre (CPP UW). Katarzyna graduated from the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Gdańsk and subsequently completed a four-year psychotherapy training course in individual and group psychotherapy at the “Rasztow” Institute of Group Analysis Training and Systemic Family Therapy at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Warsaw. She has many years of experience in working in public health care facilities and psychiatry. She was also an academic teacher at the 2nd Psychiatric Clinic of the Medical University of Warsaw. As part of the Psychological Assistance Centre, she deals with diagnosis, psychological support, as well as individual and group psychodynamic therapy.

KATARZYNA DUCHNIEWSKA – Vice-Head of the Centre
With over 25 years of professional experience as psychologist, psychotherapist, and group analyst, Katarzyna specializes in individual and group psychotherapy, incorporating elements of psychodrama and non-verbal techniques. As a training group analyst and psychotherapy supervisor, she is an ordinary member of the Institute of Group Analysis “Rasztów.” Between 2016 and 2022, membership in the Ethics Committee at IAGR “Rasztów” highlighted her dedication to ethical standards. Collaborations with both public and private healthcare centers involve supervising teams and therapeutic processes (individual, group, short-term, and long-term). Katarzyna conducts educational activities at centers preparing candidates for certification by the Polish Psychiatric Association and the Polish Psychological Association (Institute of Group Analysis “Rasztów,” School of Psychotherapy Dialogue). Her contributions include co-authoring publications such as “Atopic Dermatitis in Children” (2012, 2014) and “Psychodrama and Non-Verbal Techniques” (2012).

JOANNA CZAPUTOWICZ-KOPYT – helpline coordinator
Joanna has been a team member at the Psychological Assistance Centre since September 2022. She is also currently completing her 4-year psychotherapeutic training in the Psychotherapy Study and the Group Psychotherapy School, both at the Laboratorium Psychoedukacji. Joanna’s professional experience was gained among other places at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology (IPIN) in Warsaw, where she ran a support group for patients and individual therapy sessions. She has also worked as a group and individual therapist in depression treatment programs. As part of the Psychological Assistance Centre, she deals with individual and group psychodynamic therapy.

AGATA WRONA – mental health prevention coordinator
Certified trainer, mediator, facilitator, moderator, human resources consultant. Graduate of postgraduate studies in Mediation, Negotiation and Other Alternative Dispute Resolution at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and a master’s degree in European Studies at the Faculty of Contemporary Art at the Jagiellonian University. She conducts trainings and workshops in the field of communication, personal development, team cooperation, conflict resolution. She has many years of experience in team management, facilitation for employees in the international field, increasing efficiency and comfort in organisations. She mediates family, employee and organisational issues. As part of her work at the Psychological Support Centre, she is involved in improving functioning in the university environment, increasing comfort at work and preventing misunderstandings and conflicts. She provides training, workshops, facilitation and moderation. She works with students, PhD students and staff at the UW.

PSYCHOLOGISTS AND PSYCHOTHERAPISTS
ANNA AUGUSTYNIAK
Anna has been a team member at the Psychological Assistance Centre since October 2022. She is also currently completing her 4-year psychotherapeutic training in the cognitive-behavioral therapy at the CBT Center. Anna completed MA studies at the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Lodz, she also studied psychology at the University of Warsaw and at the college in Antwerp as part of student mobility program. Anna’s professional experience was gained among other places at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Warsaw, at the diagnostic and therapeutic departments and at the Mental Health Clinic for Adults at the Nowowiejski Hospital. As part of the Psychological Assistance Centre, she deals with individual CBT therapy and psychoeducational workshops.

RENATA GUSTOWSKA
Psychologist, psychotraumatologist. She graduated in psychology from SWPS University. Member of the Polish Psychological Society and the Polish Society of EMDR Therapy. Certified EMDR therapist. She completed a crisis intervention course at the University of Warsaw. She conducted numerous soft skills training courses and worked in the area of human resources management. She gained professional experience at the Masovian Center for the Treatment of Lung Diseases and Tuberculosis in Otwock, the Support Center for people in mental crisis in cooperation with the Itaka Foundation, non-public psychological assistance centers, and performs psychological tests for people applying for a permit to possess a weapon. At CPP, she deals with psychological support, individual therapy and conducting psychoeducational workshops.

BARBARA JAGOSZ
Psychologist, psychotherapist. She graduated from the Faculty of Psychology and the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences and Resocialization at the University of Warsaw. She completed the Study of Psychotherapy and the School of Group Psychotherapy at the Laboratory of Psychoeducation, as well as the first and second levels of training in Mentalization-Based Psychotherapy (MBT – Mentalization Based Treatment). She gained clinical experience in psychiatric wards at Bielański Hospital in Warsaw and in the public sector of French psychiatry (l’Association de Santé Mentale du 13e arrondissement de Paris), among others. She has spent the last few years working at the Department of Neurosis, Personality and Nutritional Disorders at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Warsaw, where she conducted individual and group psychotherapy. She is a member of the Polish Psychological Association. At the Psychological Help Center, she provides psychological support, short-term individual psychotherapy and group psychotherapy.

MARTYNA JANKOWSKA
Psychologist. Martyna has been a member of the Psychological Assistance Centre team since 2020. She graduated from the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Warsaw and completed her 4-year training program in the Psychotherapeutic School of Psychotherapy and the School of Group Psychotherapy at the Laboratorium Psychoedukacji. Her professional experience was gained among other places at the Mazowieckie Specjalistyczny Centrum Zdrowia im. prof. Jana Mazurkiewicza in Pruszków, at a department for young adults at the Mazowieckie Centre of Neuropsychiatry, at the Psychological and Pedagogical Clinic and at the “Przystań Szkraba” Therapy Centre in Warsaw. As part of the Psychological Assistance Centre, Martyna deals with psychological support as well as individual and group psychodynamic therapy. She is also in course of completing the psychotherapist certification process. Martyna can additionally consult in English.

ANNA KOBIERSKA
As a psychologist and psychotherapist, I am currently undergoing training in individual and group psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the Institute of Group Analysis “Rasztów.” My practice includes providing psychoanalytic psychotherapy for adults and perinatal psychotherapy. Membership in the Polish Psychological Association and candidate membership in the Institute of Group Analysis “Rasztów” reflect my professional affiliations. Training completed in basic and advanced Solution-Focused Therapy at the PSR Center, as well as additional training in a training school and mediation courses at the Polish Mediation Center, contribute to my qualifications. My professional experience includes work at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in the Rehabilitation and Relapse Prevention Departments and the General Psychiatry Department, as well as in the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department at the public hospital and in private psychotherapy practices. Many years of business experience also complement my professional background. Regular supervision by certified supervisors ensures the quality and effectiveness of my practice. At the Psychological Help Center at the University of Warsaw, my responsibilities include conducting individual psychotherapy, crisis interventions, short-term support, and group psychotherapy.

AGATA KOWALIŃSKA-KARAŚ
Psychologist, certified trainer. Obtained a Master’s Degree in Health Psychology and Psychotherapy, Business Psychology, as well as a Postgraduate Degree in Psychological Clinical Diagnosis. Graduate of a certified one-year training school and a crisis intervention course. Member of the Polish Association of Solution-Focused Therapy; completed the first level of therapeutic training in this approach. Worked in the field of career counselling and recruitment, performed psychological tests of employees, organised and conducted soft skills training. Gained experience by working with neurodivergent people in educational and therapeutic institutions, working with children, adolescents and young adults. As part of the Psychological Assistance Center: dealing with psychological support, organising and conducting training and workshops, as well as running the Club for neurodivergent people.

ANNA MACH-ŻEBROWSKA
Psychologist and certified psychotherapist. Anna completed her four-year psychotherapy training course in individual and group psychotherapy at the “Rasztow” Institute of Group Analysis, where she received both the Psychotherapist Certificate and the Group Analyst Certificate. She is a member of the Polish Psychological Association and a Graduate of the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Faculty of Polish Studies of the University of Warsaw. Anna’s professional experience was gained among other places at the Clinic of Psychiatry and Combat Stress of the Military Institute of Medicine, the Department of Neurotic Disorders, the XI Department of Psychiatric Rehabilitation at the Nowowiejski Psychiatric Hospital in Warsaw, the National “Blue Line” Intervention and Information Hotline for Victims of Domestic Abuse, as well as the Lambda Warsaw Association and the Emergency Intervention Shelter for the LGBT Community. She also has experience in psychotherapy work at a Centre for the Treatment of Eating Disorders. Anna can additionally consult in English.

MARZENA MAŃTURZ
Psychologist, trainer, ICF coach. A member of the UW Psychological Assistance Center team since November 2023. She has over 20 years of experience working with individual clients and groups. She completed her psychology studies at the Catholic University of Lublin. She is a graduate of postgraduate studies in employee competence management and coaching at Kozminski University. She is constantly improving her qualifications. She has completed training in, among others: Rational Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Dialogue and Solution Focused Therapy. So far, she has worked mainly with adults experiencing a job loss crisis and various types of difficulties in their professional lives, such as job burnout, decreased motivation, lack of satisfaction, difficulties in decision-making, goal setting and achievement, and coping with change. Her mission is to support others in recognizing and using their resources to improve functioning and derive greater satisfaction from life. As part of the Psychological Assistance Center, she provides psychological support and conducts workshops and trainings. She works with students, doctoral students and UW staff.

ANNA SIEMION-WÓJCIK
Psychologist, certified psychotherapist. Anna graduated from Faculty of Psychology at the University of Warsaw. and subsequently completed a four-year cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy training course at the School of Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy at the SWPS University. She has many years of experience in working in public health care facilities and psychiatry e.g. at the Department of Psychiatry, Combat Stress and Psychotraumatology at the Military Medical Institute, at the Family Violence Prevention Clinic at the Warsaw Crisis Intervention Center or at the Center for Veteran Activities Abroad. As part of the Psychological Help Centre, she deals with psychological support, individual therapy and conducting psychoeducational workshops.

WERONIKA WROŃSKA
Psychologist and graduate of the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Warsaw. She completed basic level training in Solution-Focused Therapy at Integri TSR and is a member of PSTTSR. She is a certified Crisis Consultant from the Instytut Pozytywnej Terapii Kryzysu. She gained experience, among others, at the Emotional Crisis Support Hotline for adults and eating disorders treatment center. At the Centrum Pomocy Psychologicznej, she provides psychological support.

ANFISA YAKOVINA
Psychologist, psychotherapist in integrative approach. Currently studying at the 4-year psychotherapy school Dialog, accredited by the Polish Psychiatric Association. She holds certificates: in perinatal psychological support (co-leads birthing schools at the Polish Migration Forum Foundation); basic level TSR; Trauma Studies Certificate Program by Trauma Research Institute. She gained clinical experience during her internship at the full-time ward at the Department of Neurosis, Personality and Nutritional Disorders at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Warsaw. At the Psychological Help Center, she provides psychological support in Ukrainian, Russian, English and Polish.

SANDRA BŁĘDEK-ANDRZEJAK
I am a medical specialist in psychiatry. I am currently affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry, Combat Stress and Psychotraumatology of the Military Medical Institute in Warsaw. I have gained experience working, among others, in the 24-hour Psychiatric Wards, the Psychogeriatric Ward, the Detoxification Ward and the Addiction Treatment Clinic. I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Lodz. Already during my studies I was interested in psychiatry – I was a member of the Psychiatric Scientific Circle and conducted research.
JUSTYNA SABELA
Specialist psychiatrist. Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Karol Marcinkowski Medical University in Poznań. She gained her professional experience working in a neurological ward. For many years, she has been working at the Department of Psychiatry, Combat Stress and Psychotraumatology of the Military Medical Institute in Warsaw, where she is currently the head of the Day Care Unit for Neurotic Disorders. In addition to his work at the Clinic, he is, among other things, a psychiatric consultant for patients at the Mazovian Centre for Lung Disease and Tuberculosis Treatment in Otwock and in the uniformed services – holding managerial positions in the past. She is a consultant physician at the UW Psychological Help Centre.
JACEK ŻELAZOWSKI
He is currently working in the Clinical Psychiatric Unit of the Wolski Hospital in Warsaw. In addition to working within the 24-hour department, he also consults patients in other hospital wards and performs emergency interventions in the Psychiatric Emergency Room. He worked as an assistant at the UWM Faculty of Medicine. He graduated from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. Constantly updates and expands his knowledge by participating in numerous trainings and psychiatric conferences. In his daily practice, he places particular emphasis on a holistic approach to the patient.
