Group psychotherapy
Group Psychotherapy is a form of psychological support conducted in a small group (around 10 people) during regular weekly sessions. Meetings are led by one or two experienced psychotherapists.
Why participate in group psychotherapy?
- The group is a natural environment in which it is easier to notice and understand your own emotional reactions and difficulties in relationships.
- By sharing personal experiences, participants gain the opportunity for mutual support and exchange.
- Group psychotherapy allows for identifying ineffective behavioral patterns and working on changing them in a safe, supportive environment.
How to join a therapy group?
Participation in group psychotherapy is preceded by an individual consultation, which:
- serves a diagnostic and preparatory purpose for group work,
- helps determine whether this form of support is suitable for the individual.
What are the sessions like?
- Sessions take place once a week, always at a fixed time.
- They last 90 to 120 minutes.
- Each group consists of about 10 participants.
