Crisis Intervention is a form of short-term psychological support offered to individuals experiencing severe emotional, mental, or life crises.

When is it worth using crisis intervention?

  • in situations of sudden psychological or emotional breakdown
    after a traumatic experience, loss, accident, or violence,
  • when you are struggling with severe stress, anxiety, or feeling overwhelmed
    and need quick support to regain mental balance and be able to use your own resources again.

What does crisis support involve?

  • The goal of crisis intervention is to quickly restore the ability to cope independently and prevent further deterioration of mental health.
  • Both individual and group forms of support are offered.
  • Support is provided through psychological consultations and stabilizing and supportive activities.

How long does the intervention last?

  • The duration and form of support are always tailored to the crisis situation and the individual needs of the person seeking help.
  • The intervention may include one or several sessions, depending on the nature of the difficulties.
