UW Helpline Chat

Do you need to talk to a psychologist but cannot visit the Consultation Point in person? Use the UW Helpline Chat, available to the entire University of Warsaw community.

How does the UW Helpline Chat work?

  • The UW Helpline Chat provides anonymous psychological support via WhatsApp.
  • You do not need to provide your name or any personal information.
  • On the other end, you will find experienced psychologists ready to listen, offer support, and help you cope with difficult situations.

When should you contact the UW Helpline Chat?

  • you feel overwhelmed and need someone to talk to immediately;.
  • you are facing a difficult situation and do not know how to cope with it on your own;
  • you are looking for emotional support without leaving home;
  • the Consultation Point is closed.

On 8 January 2026, the University of Warsaw Psychological Support Centre launched the UW Helpline Chat at the initiative of the University of Warsaw Students’ Union.
The UW Helpline Chat operates via WhatsApp at +48 880 762 439 and is available Monday to Friday, from 6:00 p.m. to midnight.
The English-speaking members of the University of Warsaw community can use the UW Helpline Chat on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6.00 p.m to midnight.
